‘Like Lead’ 7.5kg Barrier Mat is a vinyl sound barrier mat loaded with naturally occurring minerals and makes a excellent lead substitute.

Designed to improve airborne sound insulation at all frequencies, the flexibility of this product means the uses for it are almost endless. It can be incorporated into walls and ceiling as part of acoustic treatment as well as being used to increase the density of metal, wood and plastic panels for all types of enclosures, also ideal for wrapping or enclosing service pipes to reduce water noise.

‘Like Lead’ is ideal for installations where achieving acceptable airborne performance may be in doubt, a layer of ‘Like Lead’ may provide the additional peace of mind before a sound test.

‘Like Lead’ makes a good barrier over old floorboards that require sealing. Easy to lay, seals all gaps and   increases airborne performance.
